Hello, my name is Olivia Girolami. I returned to school later in life to fulfill the goal of being of service in the mental health field. I have spent many years exploring my own mental health, along with meditation, and various other volunteer and retreat-style learning, all of which has altered my perspectives and changed my life profoundly.
Who do I work with & what can I help with?
I work with clients ranging from late teens to seniors and support individuals with a variety of challenges. Some of these include anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, substance use challenges, low self-esteem, life and employment transitions, and relational difficulties. We would work together to help you develop new coping skills, overcome challenges, strengthen existing abilities, and explore possibilities.
My Therapeutic Approach
I offer a safe and compassionate space for you to express yourself fully and freely toward self-discovery and personal growth. Everyone has individual preferences and needs, and I find that a collaborative and integrated approach to be beneficial to the process. I believe in compassionate learning, and I include cognitive behavioural, acceptance and commitment, internal family systems, emotion-focused, mindfulness, somatic, and creative expression models.
Training
I am completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University and I am supervised by Sue Lymburner who is a Registered Psychotherapist. I am completing my student practicum at Counselling Bruce County.

*IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL* Teen & Adult Therapy with Stephanie
Stephanie is a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) Psychotherapist. She provides both in-person and virtual support (contact us for virtual). She works with clients ages 12 and above who are experiencing depression, anxiety, work stress, PTSD/trauma and other concerns. She is trained in helping First Responders and others who may have symptoms of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) by using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) in a 12-week treatment program for trauma. She also specializes in helping individuals who may struggle with an eating disorder, Her main modalities of treatment include: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Motivational Interviewing. Her professional experience includes working in community settings such as inpatient/outpatient mental health, corrections and with the school board supporting students and their familes.
Her therapeutic style is direct, compassionate and genuine. She believes in starting where you are at in your journey and fostering a working relationship where change can be supported and sustained. She will encourage change and promote reliance in your journey. She may use humour and non-conventional approaches as a way to foster change and to promote compassion in a non-judgmental space.

Erin is a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) in Ontario. Her academic journey includes Bachelor’s degrees in Recreation Therapy as well as a Bachelor and Master of Social Work. Her professional experience includes working inpatient and outpatient mental health, prenatal and postnatal support for new mothers and their families and with older adults and their families at the Alzheimer’s Society. Prior to becoming a registered social worker, she worked as an educational assistant, a developmental service worker, in long term care homes, and even supervised a children’s theatre camp!
She works with individuals ages 3 and up using art and play therapy, as well as adults and families. She has supported individuals with a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, ADHD, childhood trauma, family and relationship breakdown, grief and bereavement, and addictions. Erin is formally trained in trauma informed approaches to psychotherapy, and has an extensive knowledge base in topics related to Recreation Therapy (such as play, art, music, dance/movement, nature, and animal based approaches). She is excited to be working towards multiple certifications for play based therapy interventions!
Erin views therapy as a creative and collaborative process that honors the uniqueness of each individual. Her approach is holistic, flexible, and creative, considering the full spectrum of experiences that shape your life. She will draw on your strengths and resilience to guide your work together. Her approach has been described by past clients as direct, compassionate, and playful at times. She enjoys using humour and creative outlets to aid therapeutic growth and healing.

Hi, my name is Ashley Baldwin and I am a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW), Psychotherapist in the Province of Ontario. I have 15+ years’ experience in community mental health including work within mental health agencies (such as CMHA), addiction treatment, women's shelters, hospice, and long-term care. I opened Counselling Bruce County during the pandemic in early 2021; going from a solo therapist to the team we are today!
Who do I work with & What can I help with?
I work with clients of all ages 12+ addressing all areas of life from a holistic perspective (mind, body, and spirit), as well as couples. I have experience in many areas including depression & anxiety, adult ADHD, self-compassion, self-harming behaviours; family relationships (including healthy boundaries), work stress, gender identity & sexuality, infidelity, grief/bereavement and addictions of all kind. I work within various modalities depending on the concern, including DBT (dialectical behaviour therapy skills); CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy); as well as the Gottman Method for couples. I have a passion for working with teens, and I am a strong ally for the 2S-LGBQT+ community. I am also the only Rainbow Health approved therapist for gender affirming care in our area.

My therapeutic style is calm yet affirming with a goal to help you reach your desired outcome in a time frame that best suits your needs. Through empathetic listening, re-framing, and guidance, I will assist you in viewing your concerns from all angles, offering insight and alternative coping techniques to help support and heal; offering outside resources and support as needed within the community. Many of my clients come back to me due to my direct, "no nonsense" and sometimes challenging style, so this is something to consider before booking with me.

Hi, my name is Matt Minty and I am a Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I have been seeing clients since 2022, and I am curious, supportive, and understanding.
I work with clients ranging from late teens to seniors. Some of the more common topics I support clients with include depression, processing childhood trauma, anxiety, navigating careers, life transitions (moving, schooling, etc.), relationships, borderline personality disorder, and addictions amongst others.
My primary therapy techniques include cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness techniques, solution-focused approaches, and motivational interviewing. I will work with you to find the best approaches for your individual concerns. We will collaborate to identify and challenge maladaptive thought patterns, and to help you to form healthier behaviours and thoughts.
I completed a Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University in 2023, which focuses on CBT techniques. I have taken additional training in Motivational Interviewing and am always looking for areas to grow.

Hello, my name is William Burton. I hold a Master of Social Work degree and am a Registered Social Worker with the OCSWSSW (Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers). I am also a member of the OASW (Ontario Association of Social Workers) and the CASW (Canadian Association of Social Workers). Prior to becoming a Registered Social Worker, I worked in the social service field as a Developmental Service Worker and as a Youth Worker in the correctional system. I have been working professionally in clinical social work since 2021 as an Outpatient Social Worker in the health care field.

I work with teens and adults wishing to access therapy for a wide variety of reasons including anxiety, depression, grief, situational crisis, and relationship challenges. I specialize in working with male-identified individuals dealing with mental health concerns requiring non-stigmatizing supports and a comfortable space to work through difficult emotions; however, I have experience with all individuals and welcome anyone to see me.

Monica is a Registered Social Worker in the Province of Ontario. She has 19+ years of experience working within various Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), various Social Service Agencies as well as private practice. Although her work has consisted of connecting with both individuals and couples, couples therapy has become her speciality, however, she has now added being a menopause coach to her resume of skills. She uses many approaches in her work such as Narrative Therapy, Strength Based, Culturally Sensitive, Emotion Focused Therapy and Solution Focused. She is trained in Level 1, 2 and 3 in the Gottman Method Approach for couples, as well as a certified menopause coach.
